The Sale Isn’t Always the End
Many people think an estate sale ends when the last customer leaves.
Sometimes it does.
Sometimes it’s only the beginning.
After every sale we look carefully at what’s left.
Could someone else still be looking for it?
Is there another market where it belongs?
At our Cathedral City sale we continued selling items after the event ended.
Some pieces sold through Facebook Marketplace.
Others found buyers on Craigslist.
Several went through our own network of collectors and personal contacts.
Depending on your needs, the selling doesn’t just stop because the calendar says the sale is over.
Of course, not everything sells. And we help with donations and clearing those items that are still left after we’ve done our best.
One memorable survivor was a fabulous executive office desk.
Beautiful craftsmanship.
Excellent condition.
Unfortunately, it was enormous, very heavy and dark.
In the Coachella Valley, lighter styles generally win the popularity contest.
Even beautiful furniture sometimes has to wait for the right buyer.
That’s the reality of today’s market.
Our goal isn’t just running a three-day sale.
Our goal is helping families move forward.
Sometimes that’s clearing an entire property.
Sometimes it’s finding one perfect buyer for something special.
And sometimes it’s simply making a difficult transition a little easier—with a little humor, a lot of experience and plenty of respect for the lives that filled the home in the first place.
Because every estate has a story.
We’re just here to help write the next chapter.
